A shroud is a rectangular piece of cloth that is used to envelop a body for a funeral. All our shrouds are made from natural materials.
Our Thick wool shroud is a sustainable and locally produced shroud made of 100% Dutch wool.
The Soft shroud is our softest shroud. The warm fabric can be draped lightly, or be closed for a more sober look.
Our Linen shroud is a supple, coarsely woven shroud with a bright look. By folding the fabric multiple times, contours are softened just as much as with a more thick shroud.
Our Colored Shrouds are made of firm canvas. This sturdiness makes it possible to drape the shroud into beautiful folds. The colors are accentuated by the shadows this creates.
The Day & Night shroud consists of two parts. One half of the shroud is white, and the other half is midnight blue.
Our Basic set is developed to have a powerful, pure look. The set consists of the serene Basic shroud and the simple Basic carrier. This set does not require an additional cremation input board.
The denim shroud is a sturdy shroud made of rough hemp denim. The outside of the fabric is indigo blue, and the inside is light blue. This difference in color creates a nice effect when the shroud is folded for open display.
Our Thick shroud is a sturdy looking shroud with a biological background. At the edges, white twill tape is sewed onto the shroud, giving a nice contrast to the natural color of the fabric.
Our Hemp funeral shroud is a natural and sturdy shroud. Hemp is a fast growing crop that is grown sustainably. The shroud can be draped for an open presentation, or be fully closed.
Our Bamboo set has been developed for an affordable and sustainable funeral. The set consists of the biological Basic shroud and the sustainable Bamboo carrier.
NOTE: some crematoriums require a cremation input board.
Our Matka silk shroud is woven with beautiful raw silk. This silk has a subtle glimmer and a surprisingly soft texture. It has a luxurious look, but its coarse weave gives it a natural look.
