Ordered before 5 p.m., delivered tomorrow (except for Sundays and public holidays) The Comfort carrier is woven from flexible willow roots from Dutch soil, and has a solid poplar wooden bottom plate. All used willow branches are leftovers from pruning, and the willows are grown in the heart of Drenthe. This makes the carrier a local and environmentally friendly choice.
The color difference in the strands is also natural: the white strands are peeled while the dark strands are unpeeled.
The Comfort carrier can be lifted using the recesses in the side. It can be carried by up to six people. The Comfort carrier feels solid and has a flat bottom due to the poplar bottom plate. Optionally, our shroud straps can be used to tie the shroud to the stretcher.
Some crematoriums require a carrier to have a flat bottom plate and an upright edge. In such cases, a cremation input board must be used. Always discuss the situation with the crematorium to prevent misunderstandings.

In the Netherlands cremation without a coffin is legally allowed. The only requirement is that a shroud and a carrier are used. There might, however, be crematoriums that have less experience in such cremations, so always be sure to discuss this with your funeral director.
With crematoriums that require a carrier to have a flat bottom plate and an upright edge, the carriers that don't meet these requirements will need to be supplemented with a cremation input board. Always discuss the situation with the crematorium to prevent misunderstandings.
